Betta Lyon Delsordo is a cloud, application security, and artificial intelligence penetration tester with over a decade of technical and community experience. In her role at Amazon Web Services based in Italy, she specializes in executing advanced cloud infrastructure assessments, secure code reviews, application security testing, and AI hacking. Her deep technical background includes building custom, machine learning-driven internal tooling to automate secure code analysis and optimize threat intelligence collection workflows.
Delsordo began her technology career at age 13 as a self-taught programmer, running a freelance web development business in Montana before pivoting into professional offensive security. Prior to AWS, she worked as a penetration tester and application security researcher across private hacking firms. Delsordo holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology and possesses top offensive credentials, including the GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN).
An active leader in the global cybersecurity community, Delsordo focuses heavily on supporting women and underrepresented groups in technology. She has served as a technical mentor for 10 years with Technovation, and frequently acts as an organizer and speaker for organizations like Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) and Women in Security and Privacy (WISP).
