Sam Lichtenstein is an international security analyst specializing in global intelligence, counterterrorism, and geopolitical risk management. In his role as Director of Analysis at RANE, he leads analytical teams to deliver strategic and tactical forecasting that helps corporate and public sector organizations mitigate emerging international threats. Before joining RANE, Lichtenstein served for more than four years in the United States government, where he formulated tactical and strategic assessments regarding terrorist group motivations, capabilities, and counter-containment opportunities. He is a frequent industry voice, presenting on corporate intelligence frameworks, global risk outlooks, and national security strategies at major risk and security summits. Lichtenstein holds a Master of Arts from the Security Studies Program at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University.
