Stefano De Crescenzo is a European cyber security leader and systems engineer specializing in international threat analysis, product vulnerability handling, and large-scale incident management. In his executive role at ENISA, he directs the agency's primary operational services, overseeing centralized threat monitoring, coordinated vulnerability disclosures, and cross-border incident response capabilities across EU member states. Before joining ENISA, De Crescenzo spent several years within the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union (GSC), serving as the Deputy Head of Sector for corporate network and threat prevention services. He also built extensive private-sector expertise during his tenure at Cisco Systems, where he worked within the Security and Trust Organization and the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) handling advanced hardware vulnerability management, malware detection engines, and global product integrity assurance. De Crescenzo holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, alongside an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA). He is highly credentialed within the security domain, holding industry certifications including CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, and CIPM.
