Biography
Alireza Aghaee is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School. He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Sharif University of Technology and his PhD from Bocconi University. His research lies at the intersection of asset pricing and corporate finance, with a particular focus on market efficiency and frictions in capital markets. Across his projects, he examines how corporate and investor actions deviate from theoretical benchmarks due to practical constraints and strategic behaviour.
