Cory Missimore is an information security, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) professional with more than a decade of experience designing and scaling data security solutions. Based in Washington, D.C., his expertise centers heavily on AI governance, automated compliance management, and cloud architecture risk mitigation. Over his career, Missimore has worked across both the public and private sectors. He served internally with federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security as an IT auditor, and supported the Departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Education, and Health and Human Services as a federal contractor. He has also led security program initiatives and risk methodologies for prominent advisory and private sector firms, including Avanade, NRECA, and Baker Tilly. Missimore holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from George Mason University and frequently contributes to industry dialogue on quantum-safe security and AI audit evidence preservation.
