Shimrith Shalu Patrick is a 5 th year medical student with a growing interest in clinical research, particularly in dermatology, endocrinology and surgery. She aspires to pursue a career as a surgeon and believes that research plays a vital role in advancing medical practice and improving patient outcomes. She is a part of student-led communities in the aim of collaborating with people from different peers from diverse fields of medicine. Her long-term goal is to make meaningful contributions to community medicine and improve healthcare outcomes through research, advocacy and compassionate clinical practice.
