Biography:

Ejigayehu Kassa is a journalist, award-winning filmmaker, and Patient Expert whose work bridges media advocacy and psychosocial health research. Holding an MFA in Film, her productions often highlight the challenges of vulnerable communities. Driven by her personal journey with a serious skin condition, she has transformed her health experience into a platform for Psychodermatology advocacy. Ejigayehu presented her research on the psychosocial impact of dermatoses at IDC conferences in Tokyo and France, demonstrating her commitment to fostering patient-centered care and moving the conversation "Beyond the Mirror."
