Erik Kvarvåg is a CISO Advisor & Security Architect at True Corporation, with nearly three decades of experience across infrastructure security, cloud platforms, network architecture, and enterprise technology transformation.

Prior to joining True Corporation, Erik spent close to 30 years at Telenor in a series of senior global architecture and security leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Chief Security Architect, where he developed governance frameworks, information security policies, and technical security target architectures across Telenor’s business units to support a unified and secure-by-design infrastructure approach. He also advised business units and major projects on security architecture, design reviews, and implementation assurance, while serving on the Group’s Global Architecture Review Board for security matters.

Earlier roles at Telenor included Chief Architect for IT Infrastructure & Cloud Platform Security, where he led global cloud and infrastructure security architecture initiatives across Asia and Europe, including IT and network cloud platforms. He also played a key role in large-scale infrastructure consolidation and transformation programs through the development of standardized reference architecture and operational blueprints.

Erik’s expertise spans infrastructure security, cloud strategy, security governance, datacenter and network architecture, and large-scale infrastructure transformation. He is particularly experienced in bridging technical security domains with business and operational requirements, translating complex technology and security topics into practical, measurable frameworks for implementation, sourcing, audit, and assurance.

He is based in Bangkok and has worked extensively across both Europe and Asia throughout his career.
