Sandrine Lacombe

Sandrine Lacombe, after a PhD in chemical-physics, conducted early research at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society under Nobel Laureate Professor G. Ertl. She later served as an invited professor at the Sherbrooke University Hospital (Canada) and received an International Research Collaboration Award from the University of Sydney (Australia). Her research focuses on advancing particle therapy using theranostic nanoparticles. She has contributed to 93 publications and supervised 11 PhDs. She currently directs the interdisciplinary center for innovative radiation therapies, iNanoTheRad. As the former Vice-President for International Affairs of U. Paris-Saclay, she also offers her expertise to other institutions for the development of international and European strategies.
