Biography:

Drs. Lauren Gruffi and Sasha Leibholz are PGY-3 Emergency Medicine residents at the Columbia-Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian program. Both share a strong interest in global health and the intersection of infectious diseases and emergency care delivery in resource-limited settings. They aim to improve access to acute and preventive care in international and underserved communities, combining clinical excellence with a commitment to health equity and education.
