Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology

Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology:

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder of the central nervous system that affects millions of people worldwide. Advances in neuroimmunology have significantly improved the understanding of immune-mediated neurological diseases and their clinical management.

This session explores the pathophysiology of multiple sclerosis, immune system dysfunction, demyelination, disease progression, diagnostic biomarkers, and emerging disease-modifying therapies. Experts will also discuss other neuroimmune disorders, including neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) and autoimmune encephalitis.

Participants will gain insights into the latest clinical research, personalized treatment strategies, immunotherapies, and multidisciplinary approaches that improve disease management, patient outcomes, and quality of life.
