Exosome-Based Therapies

Exosome-Based Therapies:

Next-Generation Cell-Free Therapeutics in Regenerative and Precision Medicine

Exosome-based therapies represent a rapidly emerging frontier in regenerative medicine and targeted drug delivery. Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles secreted by cells that carry bioactive molecules such as proteins, lipids, mRNA, and microRNAs. They play a critical role in intercellular communication and have shown therapeutic potential across a range of diseases—including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and autoimmune diseases.

Unlike traditional cell therapies, exosome-based approaches offer a cell-free alternative with lower immunogenicity, improved safety profiles, and scalable manufacturing potential.
