Biography:

Gilbert is a Privacy Technologist, consultant and advisor to leading brands, boards and financial institutions on digital governance and ethical use of emerging technologies. As MD of a London digital agency, he became fascinated in the relationship between technology, personal data and the law, founding one of the leading cookie compliance solutions (acquired by OneTrust). He now sits on the board of the UK Data & Marketing Regulator, is a member of the government Regulators & AI working group and Global Council for Responsible AI.
