Edge Computing & Distributed Cloud Systems

Edge Computing & Distributed Cloud Systems:

This track explores how computing is shifting from centralized cloud data centers to the edge of the network, closer to where data is generated. By processing data near devices and users, edge computing significantly reduces latency, improves real-time responsiveness, and enhances user experience for applications such as IoT, autonomous systems, and smart cities. Participants will learn how distributed cloud models extend traditional cloud capabilities using platforms from Amazon Web Services (AWS Edge services), Microsoft Azure (Azure Edge Zones), and Google Cloud (Distributed Cloud).

The track also covers architectural strategies for designing scalable and secure distributed systems, including data synchronization, edge orchestration, and hybrid deployments. Key discussions will focus on challenges such as network reliability, security at the edge, and managing large-scale distributed environments. Through real-world use cases, attendees will gain insights into building intelligent, low-latency applications that combine the power of centralized cloud with decentralized edge infrastructure.
