Dr. Steven J. Traub graduated from the University of New Mexico and the Creighton University School of Dental Science before completing his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He established his private practice in Albuquerque in 1981. Dr. Traub is a Life Fellow of the AAOMS, ACOMS, and IAOMS, and serves on the board of directors of the American Institute of Oral Biology (AIOB). His surgical expertise includes wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, jaw pathology, TMJ surgery, and facial reconstruction. He is also actively involved in community service through Presbyterian Healthcare's 'Laughter is The Best Medicine' charity.
