Prof. Dr. Laurindo Moacir Sassi is the Chief of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department and the Residence Coordinator of CTBMF at the Erasto Gaertner Cancer Center. He is a member of the Brazilian College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, the Brazilian Society of Stomatology and Oral Pathology (SOBEP), and the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sassi is also an author of books focused on research development and oral cancer prevention, including a retrospective on 25 years of oral cancer prevention at the Erasto Gaertner Hospital.
