Biography:

Dr. Moritz Mahling, MD, MHBA, MME, is a senior physician and the Deputy Managing Director of the Department of Medical Development, Process and Quality Management at the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen. Operating at the executive level of a major university hospital, he leads a multidisciplinary team of 25 to 30 professionals across medicine, quality, process design, and clinical informatics. His clinical background spans nephrology, critical care, and transplantation medicine, and he is a co-responsible leader for clinical informatics and digital workflow support at the hospital. Dedicated to healthcare modernization, his work bridges clinical governance and health IT to optimize patient safety and operational excellence. An active medical educator, he co-founded the award-winning medical podcast "Abhören," earning the 2020 Best Science Communicator Award from the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD)
