Biography:

Pre. Demet Yuksel, MD, PhD, has served as the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) of the Cliniques Universities Saint-Luc since 2023. Alongside her executive role, she has been a Chef de Clinique specializing in strabismus and ocular motility disorders since 2009. She is a Professor within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at UCLouvain and leads the VisIoNS (Vision and Oculomotor Neurosciences) laboratory at the Institute of Neuroscience (IoNS). Her clinical and academic research centers primarily on oculomotor disorders, visual neuroscience, and the supervision of multiple doctoral projects exploring the integration of neuroscience and artificial intelligence in healthcare.
