Anne Forsyth is an experienced digital health and data strategy leader who serves as the Director of Hospital Data Transformation at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). With over 15 years of leadership across government, hospital, and community organizations, her expertise spans data governance, standards, electronic health records (EHRs), and interoperability. She previously served as the Manager of Data Standards at CIHI, establishing its corporate center of excellence and expanding national emergency department data coverage from 65% to 85%. She has also managed clinical applications and data analytics maturity at the hospital level, including roles at Women's College Hospital in Toronto. Active in the broader digital health community, she is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Digital Health Canada and an adjunct instructor at the University of Toronto. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHSc) from the University of Toronto, alongside CPHIMS-CA and CIPP/CA professional designations.
