Dr. Baligh Yehia, MD, MPP, MSc, FACP, is President of Jefferson Health, overseeing a system with 32 hospitals and 700+ care sites across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. A board-certified internist and infectious disease specialist, he trained at Johns Hopkins and the University of Pennsylvania, with policy degrees from Princeton and Penn. Before joining Jefferson, he held leadership roles as Senior Vice President of Ascension, President of Ascension Medical Group, and Deputy Under Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His focus is on clinical integration, workforce development, and advancing system-wide AI strategy.
