Dr. Danielle Charlotte Belgrave is a Trinidadian-British computer scientist who serves as the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) at GSK, where she heads the AI/ML Clinical Development Team. Her research focuses on deploying statistical machine learning and probabilistic graphical modeling to analyze disease progression, decipher patient heterogeneity, and accelerate target validation in drug development. Prior to her executive appointment at GSK, she held prominent technical and academic research leadership roles at Google DeepMind, Microsoft Research Cambridge, and Imperial College London, where she was a tenured Research Fellow. Dr. Belgrave holds a BSc in Business Mathematics and Statistics from the London School of Economics, an MSc in Statistics from University College London, and completed her PhD in Machine Learning for Healthcare at the University of Manchester. Over her career, she has been recognized with the MRC Career Development Award in Biostatistics and GSK's Exceptional Scientist Award.
