Dr. Eva Weicken is a medical doctor and the Chief Medical Officer for Applied Machine Learning at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI) in Berlin, specializing in the safe, ethical implementation of healthcare AI. With a background in neurology, intensive care, and psychiatry from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, she focuses on interdisciplinary solutions for AI in medicine. Internationally, she holds leadership roles as Co-Chair for "Clinical Evaluation" and "Operations" in the ITU/WHO Focus Group on AI for Health (FG-AI4H) and serves on the WHO Europe Technical Advisory Group on AI for Health. She also contributes to national AI standardization efforts in Germany.
