Jamie Cox co-founded Scarlet alongside James Dewar in 2021 with the mission of accelerating the transition to universally accessible healthcare. After completing his medical degree at the University of Bristol, Jamie spent several years working as a software engineer, focusing on AI and Machine Learning, and previously worked on medical AI models at Babylon Health. Over the past five years, he has helped build Scarlet into Europe's only software and AI-specialised Notified Body, enabling the compliant certification and continuous deployment of innovative software as a medical device (SaMD) more efficiently and frequently than ever before.
