Dr. Magnus Kjellberg, Ph.D., is the Director of the AI Competence Center (Center of Excellence for AI) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the lead Digitalization Strategist for the AI Office at Region Västra Götaland. He holds a Ph.D. in Life Science and brings over 20 years of data science experience across pharmaceutical research and clinical innovation. In his current leadership capacity, Dr. Kjellberg coordinates strategic and tactical data infrastructure, analytics development, and privacy-preserving AI frameworks. He leads multi-institutional healthcare initiatives, including Sweden's collaborative health-data projects under the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and international knowledge-exchange programs with Unity Health Toronto to accelerate clinical AI deployment.
