Christoph D. Spinner is the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at TUM University Hospital in Germany. He is a physician-scientist and digital health leader who combines clinical practice, medical informatics, and research to advance the digital transformation of healthcare. In his CMIO role, he provides clinical leadership for the implementation of digital technologies, electronic health records, clinical decision support systems, and data-driven innovation across one of Germany's leading academic medical centers.

Dr. Spinner is also a Senior Physician in Infectious Diseases and an academic at the Technical University of Munich. His clinical and research interests include infectious diseases, HIV medicine, emerging infections, digital health, artificial intelligence, and clinical data science. He has been actively involved in clinical research, contributing to numerous national and international studies on infectious diseases and innovative approaches to patient care.
