Abstract
Despite the numerous efforts and progress in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), the last ones are still the leading cause of mortality. CVDs account for ~32% of all deaths worldwide, and the key cause is end-stage heart failure. In the last decade, stem cells with different differentiation have become a promising treatment for some diseases, including CVDs, not only due to their plasticity, but also due to effect on damaged tissues in paracrine manner. The last one promotes tissue regeneration and repair. This review will consider modern methods of therapy of CVDs using the latest (design) resources of personalized and precision medicine (PPM), as well as promising ways of targeted pharmacotherapy and regenerative medicine in cardiology, cardiac surgery and cardiac rehabilitation.
