Biography:

Alyssa Jade J. Barangay is a dedicated student who graduated from junior high school in 2024 as an Outstanding Student at Christ the King College. In 2024, she authored an experimental research study entitled “The Potential of Banana (Musa acuminata) as an Alternative Organic Sealant,” demonstrating her interest in innovative and sustainable solutions. She is currently a Grade 12 Health-Allied student at LORMA Colleges—Basic and Inclusive Education Schools, where she continues to develop her passion for science and research. In 2026, she became one of the authors of the research study “HEALOT: Senior Citizens’ Lived Experiences of Hilot in Luna, La Union,” further reflecting her commitment to health related research and community-centered studies.
