Biography:

Dr. Pietro Salvatori graduated from the University of Florence Medical School, Italy. He earned specializations in General Surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, and Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He was a Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, served in several institutions, and ended his hospital career as Head of the ENT-H&N Department of the Humanitas San Pio X Hospital, Milan, Italy. At present, Dr. Salvatori acts as a freelance Head & Neck Surgeon. Most of both his work and research dealt with head and neck cancer. Dr. Salvatori has published more than 50 papers. During the recent pandemic, he conducted research with international colleagues and published on ethanol inhalation to treat SARS-CoV-2 infection and Covid-19.
