I am currently working and living with my family in Detmold (Lippe / North Rhine-Westphalia) where in September 2024 I co-founded my own practice for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Aestheticum 11, together with my colleague Dr. med. Mona Boos-Boateng.

I received my medical education at Hannover Medical School (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover) and the University of Regensburg (PhD 2010), with specialist training in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at leading German institutions, including the Bethanienkrankenhaus and the St. Marienkrankenhaus in Frankfurt and reconstructive breast surgery with Professor Dr. Axel-Mario Feller in Munich.

From 2013 to 2024, I focused on dermatosurgery and aesthetic surgery at Hautzentrum Nymphenburg (Professor Dr. Dietrich Abeck, Praxisklinik Dr. Nathrath, and Nymphenburger Praxis für Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie (Dr. Felix Graf von Spiegel), all in Munich, with an emphasis on evidence-based aesthetic surgery, structural facial rejuvenation, and minimally invasive treatment strategies integrating surgical and non-surgical approaches. I have been Key Opinion Leader with Merz Aesthetics and frequent trainer and lecturer in that capacity since 2019.

I am a full member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC), a member of the German Society for Botulinum Toxin (DGBT), and serve as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Merz Aesthetics Germany.
