Dr. Chih-Wei Wu is a board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice at Elysee Aesthetic Medical Center in Taiwan. He currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Asian Society for Breast Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Wu graduated from the School of Medicine at National Taiwan University in Taipei in 2003 and completed his plasticsurgery residency at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2009. He then pursued a fellowship in breast reconstruction at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. During his tenure there, he became Director of both the Breast Reconstruction Center and the Plastic Surgery Intensive Care Unit in 2015 and was appointed Assistant Professor in 2016. In 2017 he moved into private practice, and in 2023 he founded Elysee Aesthetic Medical Center, where he now focuses on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

Beyond his clinical and administrative roles, he is a prolific academic who shares his expertise—from microsurgic al reconstruction to breast surgery—through book chapters, peer-reviewed papers, and conference presentations. Despite his busy private practice, he continues to contribute actively at international conferences to this day.
