Dr. Jonas Daniel P. Bico is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon from the Philippines with a focused subspecialty interest in Asian augmentation rhinoplasty and implant-based nasal surgery. His clinical and academic work centers on ePTFE (Gore-Tex) implants, complication management, and structural refinement techniques tailored to Southeast Asian patients.
He completed his residency training in Plastic Surgery at the Philippine General Hospital and pursued advanced cleft training under the Smile Train Cleft Surgery Training Program. He is a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS), an International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the Rhinoplasty Society of Asia (RSA).
Beyond aesthetic surgery, Dr. Bico remains actively involved in reconstructive outreach. He serves as a volunteer cleft surgeon with Smile Train Philippines, providing cleft lip and palate surgery to underserved patients in Quezon Province— his hometown—where he remains committed to giving back to the community that shaped his early years.
