Dr. Kamol Wattanakrai is a board-certified plastic surgeon (since 1985) and the founder of Bangkok Skin-Plastic Surgery Center. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital (2005–2009). He served as President of the Oriental Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (2014–2016), President of the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Thailand (2016–2018), and National Secretary for ISAPS (2018–2022).

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Rhinoplasty Society of Asia and on advisory boards of several Thai plastic surgery societies. Widely published in aesthetic surgery, his works include innovations in eyelid and facial rejuvenation techniques. Dr. Kamol has earned multiple honors, including the 2024 PRS Best Paper Award for High Eyelid Fold Correction: “Algorithm for Correction of Unaesthetic High Eyelid Folds.”
