Metabolic Health and Obesity

Metabolic Health and Obesity:

Metabolic health and obesity are closely linked to dietary habits, lifestyle factors, and underlying biological processes including gut micro biome composition. An imbalance in energy regulation, inflammation, and microbial diversity can contribute to weight gain and metabolic dysfunction. Increasing research highlights the gut micro biome as a key regulator of metabolism and energy balance.

Studies show that changes in gut bacteria can influence fat storage, appetite regulation, insulin sensitivity, and chronic low-grade inflammation. These factors collectively contribute to the development of obesity and related metabolic disorders. Understanding these mechanisms is helping researchers identify new pathways for prevention and treatment.

This session will focus on the role of the micro biome in metabolic health, obesity development, and weight management strategies. Participants will explore nutritional interventions, micro biome-targeted therapies, and emerging research in metabolic disease prevention.
