Biography:

Bernard Gaspar Martínez is a founding member and the current president of the Spanish Association of People Affected by Lung Cancer (AEACaP). This association was set up by his partner, who was a lung cancer patient, in 2008. Following her death, Bernard took over and continued the work to formally establish the organisation. AEACaP was established with the aim of supporting, addressing the needs and defending the rights of those affected, an objective that remains relevant today after more than 15 years of operation.
