Dr. Liuhua Shi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health at the Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. She received her Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) in Environmental Health from Harvard University and completed her postdoctoral training at the same institution. Her research focuses on understanding the health impacts of environmental exposures, including air pollution, climate change, extreme weather, environmental noise, and green spaces on chronic diseases and aging populations. Dr. Shi integrates advanced epidemiological methods, remote sensing, machine learning, and statistical modeling to investigate environmental determinants of diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, cardiovascular disorders, respiratory illnesses, and dementia.
