Prof. Alexander Bagaturyants is now retired. He has been full professor at National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" and chief researcher at Photochemistry Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was graduated from D.I. Mendeleev Institute of Chemical Technology, Moscow, Russia in 1962, obtained his PhD degree, Dr. Sci. degree, and the academic title of Professor in 1968, 1987, and 1992, respectively, all in physical chemistry. His main research interests are in the field of atomistic multiscale simulations of organic functional materials and in the application of theoretical methods in organic nanophotonics. He is the author of 105 articles in SCI(E) journals.)

Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 131) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 30,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, Hebei University of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies. Prof. Webster is a former President of the U.S. Society for Biomaterials and has over 1,350 publications to his credit with over 55,000 citations. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Webster also recently formed a fund to support Nigerian student research opportunities in the U.S.

Dr. Hossam A. Gabbar studied systems engineering at Alexandria University. He obtained PhD degree in process systems engineering from Okayama University, Japan. He joined Japan Chemical Innovation Institute (JCCI) and Tokyo Institute of Technology. Dr. Gabbar is a full Professor in the Department of Energy and Nuclear Engineering, in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, at Ontario Tech University (UOIT). He leads the Smart Energy Systems Lab (SESL), and Advanced Plasma Engineering Lab (APEL). He is the recipient of the Senior Research Excellence Aware for 2016, UOIT. He is among the top 2% of worldwide scientists in energy. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE NPSS.

Victor John Law B.Scs (1985), Ph.D. degree (by published works, 2003). Since 2012, he held the post of Senior Researcher within the Surface Engineering Group, University College Dublin (UCD) Ireland. He has authored over 160 publications, with a citation index of 20.6 for the first 100 papers. He jointly holds four patents. His research interest includes radio e frequency power circuits, and their complex physic-chimerical interactions with biological material at the nano-scale. In addition, off-grid soar processes for cooking and dehydration of foodstuff. He retired to the island of Crete, Greece where he continues to contribute to UCD research effort.
